WASHINGTON (Reuters)-a federal grand jury issued indictments against five individuals involved with the site NinaVideo.net with the conspiracy and copyright infringement, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said on Friday.
The site provided millions the ability to transfer high-quality, illegally copyrighted movies and television programs, ICE, said in a statement.
He said that NinjaVideo operated from February 2008 until it was shut down by authorities in June 2010-after the defendants allegedly collected more than $ 500,000 and made millions of dollars in copyright infringement.

Defendants Hana Amal Beshara from New Jersey and Matthew David Howard Smith of North Carolina have been identified as the founders and administrators NinjaVideo, and Jeremy Andrew Lynn of Oregon was supposedly Chief Security site.
Joshua David Evans, Washington State and Zoi Mertzanis, a resident of Greece, allegedly to be two of the most active uploaders of copyrighted material to the site.
The federal grand jury in Alexandria, Virginia returned the indictment Thursday, charging the five defendants with a count of conspiracy and five counts of substantive copyright infringement for their involvement with NinjaVideo.
